The Library subscribes on your behalf to a number of commercial databases, which provide reliable health information for which you would normally have to pay. These databases are available online for free if you have a Toronto Public Library card (required). They cover a wide variety of topics, including health, and often allow you to access ebooks and the full text of articles in magazines, journals and newspapers.
